How to Measure Your Bangle Size at Home

Getting your bangle size right the first time saves you a return trip to the post office — here's how we recommend measuring at home. Bring your thumb across your palm until it touches the base of your little finger, so your hand is as narrow as it can go. Wrap a soft measuring tape (or a strip of paper, then measure the strip with a ruler) around the widest part of your hand at that point. Divide that measurement by 3.14 to get your diameter. Under 7.6" is a 2.4, 7.6"-8.2" is a 2.6, and over 8.2" is a 2.8. If you already own a bangle that fits well, you can just measure its inner width directly and skip the math. A couple of tips from experience: if you're between two sizes, size up rather than down — a slightly loose bangle is far more comfortable than one you have to force over your knuckles. And if you're planning to wear mehndi for a function, remember your hand will be slightly swollen that day, so size up if you're on the edge. Still unsure? Message us with your measurement and we'll tell you which size to pick.
